Bell ringing and Mayoral Proclamation for Constitution Week, Sept. 17-23, sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution, Taneycomo Chapter.
The Daughters of the American Revolution, Taneycomo Chapter will be distributing bells to be rung for Constitution Week. At 2:30 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Branson City Hall, there will be a brief program celebrating our Constitution. Mayor Larry Milton will be giving a Mayoral Proclamation. At precisely 3:00 pm the bells will be rung nationwide for one full minute! Constitution Week was initiated by the Daughters of the American Revolution and signed into law by Pres. Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1955. Come celebrate our country's foundational document. the Constitution on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 2:30!
