Dianne Washington, age 74, of Hollister, Missouri.
Dianne Washington, age 74, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away November 16, 2024. She entered this life November 27, 1949, in Olney (Young County), Texas, the daughter of Robert and Helen (Lindley) Washington.
Dianne was one to spread joy to everyone she met and leave them with a smile. She willingly and lovingly helped those in need. Dianne enjoyed cooking, fishing, and hunting, and was a super fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks Women’s Basketball and Softball.
For 35 years, Dianne worked as a Human Resources Manager and Certified Trainer. After a few years of retirement, she eagerly accepted an offer to work part-time as a professional training consultant, with that work taking her to many states across the U.S. Dianne will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Dianne is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
She is survived by her cousins, Obayana B. Ajanaku (whom Dianne called brother) and his wife Bonnie Davis of Decatur, GA, Michael and Amanda Pace of Johns Creek, GA, Carl Thomas of Houston, TX, Carlene King, Viola Evans, and Lawrence Thomas of Fort Worth, TX, and Anna Golden and Brenda Joyce Pratt of Olney, TX.
Dianne’s longtime supporters in Hollister included Patty Fritcher and her parents, along with dear friend Lori Hall.
Dianne requested cremation and no formal service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to your favorite charity or the American Cancer Society (www.donate.cancer.org).
