Jerry Shane Spears, 50, of Harrison, Arkansas went to his Heavenly home to spend eternity with his Lord on October 4, 2024. He was born on February 3, 1974, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of Jerry and Debbie (Douglas) Spears.

Jerry was an intelligent young man with a heart of gold. He loved all animals, including the ones in the wild. Some of his hobbies were fishing and hunting. Jerry was a huge fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Jerry was often referred to as someone that had never met a stranger, he became friends with everyone. He had just recently started a new adventure in life, he would go and purchase storage units and resale the items. Some items he would donate to the Ozark Humane Society thrift store because he wanted to help the animals. Jerry loved the Lord, there is no doubt he is in heaven with his dad. He was a huge supporter of veterans, always honoring them for their service.

Jerry posted this on his Facebook page a couple of weeks back:

If you have the chance to make people happy, just do it. Sometimes people are struggling silently. Maybe, your act of kindness can make their day.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, and both sets of grandparents, Jessie and Faye Spears and T.L. and Helen Douglas. He is survived by his mother Debbie Spears, his stepmom Brenda Spears, and his siblings April Spears, Christy Ramsey, Chris Ramsey, Kimberly (Todd) Nebling and a half sister Taunya Johnston.
